Humane Warriors is dedicated to empowering low-resource schools throughout India by revolutionizing their digital infrastructure. Through a powerful partnership with Labdoo, Humane Warriors establishes cutting-edge laptop labs to bring digital education to every student. We take great care in delivering these laptops to our partner schools and also provide one year of internet access and even support for a teacher’s salary to ensure these devices are utilized to their fullest potential.
In India, there are numerous low-resource schools where students are being deprived of the critical skills necessary to succeed in today’s job market. Basic digital competencies such as proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, e-learning resources, and even basic programming know-how are sorely lacking. This scarcity can be attributed to a lack of financial resources, shortage of qualified teachers, and the fact that many schools are situated in remote, resource-scarce villages. The consequences of this are dire, as it limits the potential of students to achieve their goals and create a brighter future.
Over the years, Humane Warriors has cultivated powerful partnerships with social workers and non-profit organizations throughout India, particularly during our “Help India Breathe” and similar relief efforts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the wake of this crisis, HW has expanded upon these relationships to address pressing issues that still plague our communities, such as the lack of access to education. To combat this challenge, Humane Warriors is taking bold steps to upgrade digital infrastructure by providing laptops, PCs, and cellphones as needed, recruiting skilled tutors to impart knowledge, and ensuring one year of internet access. By doing so, HW aims to empower students with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in today’s increasingly digital world
Humane Warriors harnesses the power of its vast network of volunteers, affectionately known as “warriors,” primarily consisting of members of the Indian diaspora residing throughout Europe. Through a dynamic partnership with Labdoo, HW acquires refurbished laptops from donors across Europe and delivers them to our partner schools in India by connecting traveling warriors with schools in need. Once a match has been made, the warrior personally delivers the laptops to the school or hands them over to a verified carrier for transportation. To ensure optimal utilization and impact of the laptops, HW closely monitors their usage and performance through regular user data updates and continuous evaluation of tutor performance. The result is a powerful and impactful effort to bridge the digital divide and empower students in underprivileged communities throughout India.

To bring the tech-inequity, our goal is to acquire close to 10 smart devices which can enable students to access quality learning material.
Creating a network of external volunteers who are willing to teach & create content for e-learning. This way, teachers at the learning centers will be exposed to teaching practices which can further their learning and growth.
Humane Warriors has previously supported Moitri Sanjog as part of our “Help India Breathe” campaign in 2021 with procurement and distribution of ration kits to community members. We strongly believe in Moitri Sanjog’s vision and mission towards gender equity.
