Humane Warriors started out with hunger relief efforts during the 60+ day COVID lockdown in India and distributed 200,000+ meals and 15,000 ration kits for migrant laborers, daily wage-workers and their families. This lockdown has pushed many families into poverty. To support these families, we are focusing on post-lockdown projects, such as education:

• Scholarship funds for children so that they do not drop out of schools
• Building a rural e-learning center so that tribal children will receive quality uninterrupted education.
• Payment of teacher salaries at rural schools and in building livelihoods through microcredit loans and grants to women workers and entrepreneurs.
